Members are not anonymous; nor are their votes.

 

Missing a vote means forfeiting the next vote. Democracies fail when their members don't participate!

 

Shares in the DAO cannot be transferred, except back to the DAO at the prevailing value of the DAO. Buyout payments are made as an equal percentage to all selling members from 10% of monthly profits until selling members are made whole. And this is considered an actual expense before distribution of realized profit.

 

DAO members can own more than one share but their shares do not entitle aggregate voting. Members' opinions on the organization's direction is limited to their membership, not number of shares held.

 

Any verified attempt by a DAO member to reward another member for voting a certain way on an issue with any form of actual compensation will have their membership revoked and the value of their shares will be given to the person that they attempted to influence, even if that person voted as asked. There must of course be irrefutable proof that this has occurred and then the offense would be voted on by the DAO members before any action is taken. Offering to vote for each other to be project contributors would not be considered an offense.

 

The DAO is an evolutionary organism, it is expected to grow and evolve as new and better technology and processes are discovered and implemented. However, only changes that further the founding ethos of becoming the most transparent, progressive and democratic form of creative collective commerce and civic stewardship can be considered. Anything that contrary to those values can not be considered for a vote.

 

A contributing member's portion of the 36% of profits realized from a project that they participated on are not subject to reputational weighting and cannot be withheld for any reason. However future direct involvement on new projects is determined by reputational scoring.

 

Eventually - Not all DAO members must be contributing creatives or technologists, they may be people that want to support our guiding ethos and benefit from the success of the DAO in the form of realized returns to be divided equally among our members from 20% of pre - realized profits on a quarterly basis.

The breakdown of the distribution of realized profits is as follows, based on 100% of realized profit after any actual expenses such as third party accounting, administrative, taxes. etc and proportional carbon offsets are accounted for, all expenses to provided publicly and with complete transparency.

         

36% Contributory collective projects share 36% of realized profit amongst contributors equally based on each

having met their contributory obligations determined and agreed upon before starting any work, to be distributed bi- weekly.

           

30% Reinvested in growing the organization through viral content production and associated marketing, branding and   

selling of licensed materials, all of this content is to be 100% focused on supporting progressive agendas,

candidates, and projects that embody the egalitarian ethos. Projects are voted on by  all members.

 

30% Distributed among all members on a quarterly basis.

 

         

2% comicprophet, in perpetuity paid bi weekly and capped at 150,000 annually. Should cap ever be reached,

the money above the annual cap would be redistributed equally among all DAO members.

         

2% Voted on to be used for any positive initiative to be decided on by member vote.

Sole creator projects curated and sold through the Dao are distributed as follows.

 

94%   After realized expenses as defined above, the collection creator gets 96% of realized profit paid bi-weekly

 

2%    Reinvested into content creation

 

2%    Distributed amongst DAO members quarterly

 

2%    Voted on to be used for any positive initiative to be decided on by member vote.

The DAO is a most ambitious project unto itself, this is a very new technology/ process that we hope to not only help in saving our American experiment but should we be successful, we will use our momentum to all manner of media backed social good.
